Sin-shackles keep us sad. When Jesus BREAKS our

shackles, we can do morewith Jesus !

Both of these things can prevent you from doing

what you want to do.

chains are an

example of

shackles.

KEEP YOUR FEETSTILL CHALLENGE:

JESUS DIED ON THE CROSS SO THAT SIN

CAN'T KEEP US AWAY FROM HIM ANYMORE!

So that we would all have FREEDOM!

Shackles limit what you can do.

Chains keep you from going

very far.

They are just like sin.

Sin also keeps us from doing the

things God created us to do.

Have everyone in your home stand together. Put your hands together, ready to pray.

Choose a leader who will start. Wrap his or her hands around the hands of theperson to the right or across from you, and say;

"Jesus, please bless (insert person's name)."That person will turn to the person on their right,

and repeat the motion and prayer. Continue all around the circle. Then choose people in your family to represent some of the families in your

neighborhood, and pass the blessing to them. You could pray; "Jesus, pleasebless (neighbor) and show us how we can be a good neighbor to them. Show us

how we can see them the way you do." The leader can close in prayer.

This series special will give you interesting ways to remember what to pray foras we "pray to the LORD for" the peace of our city and those around us.

This type of prayer is a blessing prayer.With this type of prayer we are reaching out to God and asking Him to act inthe lives of people, so that they will be able to see and enjoy His Kingdom
