Transformed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ, a quest to understand and alter conditions

that perpetuate injustice and poverty among the vulnerable.

The Injustice — Many children living in Hickory lack access to the educational support and resources that most Corinth families take for granted. These children are not being read to, not getting help with homework, not being mentored, not being surrounded by positive role models, and not able to see a different future for themselves.

The Quest — To move the needle in our public schools and ensure that more children have access to the resources that they so desperately need.

The Solution — You. Whether you have plenty of time, or just a half an hour once a month; whether you want to work with elementary schoolers or high schoolers; whether you have educational training or not; the solution is YOU!

TWO INITIATIVES are launching this school year: a mentoring program at Hickory High and HCAM, and volunteer support at Viewmont Elementary. How can you help?
