UNIT 2 – CHARACTER ANALYSIS

Personality traits Physical traits

What is character analysis? Character analysis tells us all about the character. It tells us about two very important traits about the character. They are:

Thoughts

What we see – the appearance

Actions and behaviour

Words

Feelings

We use character analysis a lot

to talk about different

characters in the books we read

or the movies we watch.

You are right! Each character

is different in and character

analysis helps us to identify

their traits.

Yes, character traits give us

information special to each

character in the story.

Helping us get to know them!

UNIT 4 – CHILDHOOD MEMORIES

I will never forget what happened to me during a family holiday in Mallorca, Spain when I was a child. I was

only about 10 years old but the memory will probably stay with me forever. I was on holiday with my

parents, my aunt, uncle and my cousin who is two years younger than me. We went to the beach and my

cousin and I went to play in the sea next to an old rowing boat leaving my parents close by to sunbathe.

After a while my cousin got bored and went back to my parents leaving me alone. Later, I decided to go

back too but when I looked up and down the beach I couldn’t see any of my family. I was panicking,

running up and down the beach but couldn’t find anyone. I started to cry. Eventually a woman helped me

find a policeman who began to call other police on his radio. In the end, I saw my mother, who was also

crying, running toward me. She gave me a big hug.
