Writing in Social Studies

The Social Studies Paragraph1. A paragraph must have a minimum of five

sentences2. A paragraph must have a thesis or topic

sentence.3. A paragraph must be written in 3rd person.4. A paragraph must be supported with factual

data.5. A paragraph must use appropriate Social

Studies vocabulary.6. Social studies writing should be formal. Slang,

contractions, and abbreviations should not be used.
