HERBICIDEAPPLICATIONSCostofaquaticplantherbicides(perchemicalused/peracre)All Habitat Services’ CT DEEP licensed applicators will perform applications of the approved aquatic herbicide prescriptions to deliver an effective concentration for management of the nuisance submerged and floating aquatic plant species. We will obtain a CT DEEP Aquatic Pesticide Use Permit and gain all necessary local agency approvals (cost not included in herbicide application). We will gain the required permissions from the affected property owner(s), publish a legal notice of the proposed treatment date(s) and post notification at the property in accordance with CGS 22a-66a-1(e). Best management practices suggest using a selective incremental herbicide application approach so as not to initiate a major disturbance within the waterbody. This approach is prudent and therefore split herbicide applications to approximately 50% of the infested area each time is prescribed. Cost Table 2:
