    b. For permission of non Pre-Approved titles, enter EventClassP, i.e. 1084BP, and follow Rule IX.A.1-4.3. For 2 or more mostly brass performers.4. Instrumentation/voicing must be specified in the score with a maximum of 2 performers per part.5. If the length of a selection exceeds 9 minutes (3/4 of the allotted time), the music may be cut to stay within the 12 minute time

    limit. If the selection lasts less than 5 minutes, another selection must be added.6. This event encourages music performance that represent indigenous cultures and ethnic groups. Non-traditional, non-Western, or

    ancient instruments may be used as long as they authentically represent the culture or tradition of the piece being performed.7. A student may enter this event more than once if he/she performs on different instruments.8. One ensemble member is expected to introduce the ensemble at WSMA District and State Festivals, including school name, title

    of piece, mvts. being performed if appropriate, composer, and provide a verbal explanation of the historical context and performance practices for the ensemble.
