https://wtcpods.cringham.org WTC Guest Speaker Rundown This doc is to help you get familiarized with the podcast quickly and learn how things run so we can have a smooth casting experience. Please take a look and let me know if you have any questions! - Chris Podcast Description This podcast is all about college , and the goal is to reflect on our long journey from Freshman to Senior year. The audience includes family, peers, and some of my close professors . We’ll discuss topics related to college life, goals, growth, general activities, fun stuff to do, crazy stories, and advice for the little college fledglings. We will hear from many guest speakers and friends (like you) in order to enrich our discussions and bring in multiple perspectives. The podcast is based around organic chatting. We have some topics laid out with some starting questions, but other than that it is based on expanding on natural conversation - don’t be afraid to expand on an idea. Recording sessions usually last about 35 min to 60 min. Expectations These expectations are here to make my life easier with editing, to help produce quality content that is on-topic, and to help us avoid awkward situations where I have to cut you off or ask you not to do something. Please don’t do anything distracting If you get up and move around, vape, use your phone, or make loud noises then it distracts from the content and makes me feel like you aren’t tuned in. The mic is sensitive, and creating frequent noises makes it very cumbersome for me to edit them out after we finish recording. If you ever need a break, or if you honestly need to leave for some reason just let me know - it doesn’t matter if we’re recording! Please don’t be vulgar Incessant swearing or generally offensive jokes are going to be cut, and they really make my editing job take much longer. Cursing is fine here and there. Just know our audience (family, peers, and some of my professors).

Podcast Description This podcast is all about college, and the goal is to reflect on our long journey from Freshman to Senior year. The audience includes family, peers, and some of my close professors.

● Please don’t do anything distracting If you get up and move around, vape, use your phone, or make loud noises then it distracts from the content and makes me feel like you aren’t tuned in. The mic is sensitive, and creating frequent noises makes it very cumbersome for me to edit them out after we finish recording. If you ever need a break, or if you honestly need to leave for some reason just let me know - it doesn’t matter if we’re recording!

● Please don’t be vulgar

Incessant swearing or generally offensive jokes are going to be cut, and they really make my editing job take much longer. Cursing is fine here and there. Just know our audience (family, peers, and some of my professors).

● Please stay on topic Again, we’re catering to a specific audience. It’s natural to have some off-topic discourse, but always try to bring it back to the topic of college or the topic we are currently discussing (check out this session’s topics below).

Overall, we should have fun and keep things loose when recording, just keep in mind that this is a personal project of mine, and I care a lot about everybody's engagement in it as well as the quality of the content.

This Week’s Topics This week’s topics with some example questions are:

● <list topics here> ○ <questions as sub-bullets>

Feel free to reflect and think about potential responses. Remember that producing thoughtful answers is as much of key to the podcast as joking around is.
