Create the Organisation’s Account
1. Go to https://equality-fund.smapply.io/prog/wvl-caribbean_application/
2. Click on “Register” in the top right corner of the screen (Screenshot 1).

3. You will be directed to first create your personal account (Screenshot 2), and then to create an account for
your organisation (Screenshot 3).
IMPORTANT: The person who creates the organisation’s account will become your organisation’s
“Administrator”. If you would like more than one member of your organisation to have access to your
organisation’s online application, your Administrator must invite them through the system and they will create
their personal account through this invitation – these individuals should NOT use the “Register” button. Please
see the “How to invite team members to the online platform” section for instructions.
4. Verify your email – click on the “Send verification link” button (Screenshot 4). You will be sent a verification
email from the [email protected] email address. Open the email and click on the “Confirm email
address” button. Tip: If you can’t find the email, check your spam folder. If you have a Gmail account, it may
end up in your “Promotions” emails.

Start Application
5. When you are logged in, click on “View programs” OR “Programs” button (Screenshot 5).
6. Then select the “WVL-Caribbean Application” program (Screenshot 6).

8. Click on the “Eligibility Quiz” task (Screenshot 8).
9. After completing the Eligibility Quiz, you will be able to see if your organization is eligible to apply for funding
through WVL-Caribbean. The system will provide you with further instructions on what to do next (Screenshot
9).

10. When ready, click on the “Mark as Complete” button. You will be directed to the answers you provided in
your Eligibility Quiz. Click on the “Review & Submit” button (Screenshot 10). You will be directed once again
to the answers you provided in your Eligibility Quiz. This stage will be completed once you click on the “Submit
your Application” button (Screenshot 11). Please bear in mind that even though this button refers to your
“application”, it is only the “Eligibility Quiz” that you are submitting at this time.

11. After clicking on the “Submit your Application” button, you will be directed to a message that thanks you
for submitting your eligibility assessment. This message will also ask you to choose between going to your
applications or viewing more programs. Click on the “Go to My Applications” button to proceed with your
application (Screenshot 12).
12. After clicking on “Go to My Applications” you will see that you have a pending task as part of your
application. Click on the “Start” button (Screenshot 13) to continue to your “Organizational Profile”. Under
your tasks, click on the “Organizational Profile” button (Screenshot 14).

13. As you complete your Organizational Profile, to move to the next page, scroll to the bottom of each screen and click on “Next” (Screenshot 15).
TIP 1: The system is set up to save your answers as you input them – however, it is still a good idea to click
regularly on the “Save & Continue Editing” button at the bottom of the screen.
TIP 2: You cannot continue to the next page until you complete all the answers on your current page.
However, you are able to go back to previous pages and edit answers..

TIP 3: You can increase the size of the text boxes by clicking and dragging the bottom right corner of the
boxes (Screenshot 16).
Signing Into (And Out Of) Your Account
You can sign in to and out of your account as you need, saving your application to complete later.
1. Go to https://equality-fund.smapply.io/
2. Click on the “Log In” button in the top of the screen (Screenshot 17).
3. Type in your email address and password (no screenshot).
4. On your applications page, click on “Continue” (Screenshot 18).

**You should only have one (1) application. If you have more than one (1) application started, please
contact Tina Mena, MEL Officer, at [email protected] . **
5. Click on your Organizational Profile task to continue working on your Organizational Profile (Screenshot
19).
6. To sign out, first click on your name in the top right corner, then “Log Out” (no screenshot).

Submit your Organizational Profile
1. Once you have inputted all your answers and are ready to submit your Organizational Profile, scroll to the
bottom of the screen on the last page and click on the “Mark as Complete” button (Screenshot 20).
2. You will then be taken to back to your “Task” page, where you will be able to read over your entire
Organizational Profile. If you would like to change one of your answers before submitting your Organizational
Profile, click on the three dots in the top right corner and select “Edit” (Screenshot 21).

3. When you are ready to submit, click on the “Review & Submit” button on the left hand side of the screen
(Screenshot 22).
4. The final step is to click on the “Submit Your Application” button on the bottom of the page (Screenshot
23).

How to Invite Team Members to the Online Platform
IMPORTANT: The person who creates the organisation’s account will become your organisation’s “Primary
Administrator”. If you would like more than one member of your organisation to have access to your
organisation’s online application, your Administrator must invite them through the system and they must
create their personal account that will link to the organisational account through this invitation – these
individuals should not use the “Register” button.
1. Once you are logged in, no matter where you are in the application, you will see a “Manage organization”
button in the top right corner (Screenshot 24). Click on this.
2. Click on the “Members” button (Screenshot 25).

3. Click on “Add member” (Screenshot 26).
4. Fill out their name and email address, select the “Organization administrator” role, and click on the “Notify
member by email that they have been added” so that they will be sent an invitation email from our
[email protected] email address (Screenshot 27). Finally click on the “Add” button.

If You Are Having Problems
1. If you’re having problems accessing or navigating the online platform, Survey Monkey Apply offers
technical support staff. You can reach them by clicking on this link (https://equality-fund.smapply.io/helpdesk/
) or clicking on the “Info” icon at the top of your account page (Screenshot 29), and fill out their support request
form. They will be in contact within 24 hours or less.
