Sales Commission Analysis

Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)• In our BP, we modeled that our CAC is about 20% of the customer

value.• Assume 10% is BIY cost of sales support.• That leaves 10% for the student sales person commission.• Assume a student sells and maintains a membership pool of 50

members after 12 months.• Gross revenue is $18K / year after mo. 12 ($30/mo x 12 mos. X 50

members)• Student commission at 10% would be $1800 / year• Assume a student must spend 4 hrs. per week over 50 weeks to

build and maintain this pool.• Student hourly rate would be $9/hr.
