Changes of organizational structure from 01.01.2010

Cutting of number of organizational units from 40 to 23

• Creation of Investment Fulfilment Centre on the base of 8 Regional Departments and Head Office Departments responsible for investment process;

• Decreasing of Railway Lines Plants from 27 to 17 (joining and dividing by change of subordination of sections);

• Reorganization of Railway Security Guard – abolishment of regional headquarters;

Change of structure will cause the rationalization of employment (dissolution of employment contract with those who gained rights to retire, limitation of office workers by transfering them to work in base operation), as well as the meaningful savings in operational costs.

Increasing of interest in our tenders and appearance of larger number of suppliers;

Receiving by new producers certificates allowing development in infrastructure what enhances the competition amongst producers – e.g. metal accessories for superstructure.

Producers are taking part in tenders directly – resign from agents, e.g. rails.
