This inaugural course was run by our local AECG Itji-Marru for staff from all our Western Shores Learning Alliance schools. It was a fabulous 3 days of deep learning incorporating visits to local Aboriginal sites as well as guest speakers from our local community. Thank you to the Itji-Marru team for giving us the opportunity. Splash and Dash This Friday is our Splash and Dash Colour Run, taking place between 12:00 and 2:25pm. Students will need to bring a white shirt for the colour run and old shoes. Students are to have a change of clothes, including shoes, and a towel in a plastic bag for after their run. Please ensure you have returned the permission note to the office. If students do not have a change of clothes, or a signed permission note they will be unable to participate. Hopefully by now you have signed your child up online to register and start collecting sponsors. All children who raise $10 or more will receive a prize. Cash donations are also accepted, but students will need an online account to order their prize. If you are able to assist on the day please return the parent helper note to the office, alternatively you can just let the office know and they will write your name down. There is an opportunity for parents to participate in the Splash and Dash at 2:00pm. It would then be appreciated if you were able to assist with the pack up. Kindergarten Orientation Thank you to all the parents and students who made our new families and 2020 Kindergarten students feel welcome last Tuesday. Our second orientation session will take place tomorrow and will continue for another 3 weeks. 2020 Class Organisation As the end of year approaches we will begin our organisation for the 2020 school year. If you are moving out of the area and leaving our school please inform the office of your intentions. Similarly, if you are aware of any students moving into our area who will be attending our school in 2020 please ask the families to make contact with the school. Out of School I will be out of school this week from Wednesday-Friday attending the Primary Principals Association Conference in Sydney. If you have any questions or concerns, Mrs Holli Nichols will be relieving as Principal in my absence. Have a great week! Lyndal Coleman Principal Did you know?
