Please read entire manual before installation.

Before You Start•Disconnectnegativebatteryterminal.Consultaqualifiedtechnicianforinstructions.•Avoidinstallingtheunitwhereitwouldbesubjecttohightemperatures,suchasfromdirectsunlight,orwhereitwouldbesubjecttodust,dirtorexcessivevibration.

Getting Started•Removetrimringfromunit,•Remove2transitscrewslocatedontopoftheunit.•Insertthesuppliedkeysintotheslotsasshown,andslidetheunitoutofthemountingsleeve.

•Installmountingsleeveintoopening,bendingtabstosecure.•Connectwiringharnessand antenna.Consultaqualified technicianifyouareunsure.

•Certainvehiclesmayrequireaninstallationkitand/orwiring harnessadapter(soldseparately).•Testforcorrectoperationandslideintomountingsleevetosecure.

•Snaptrimringintoplace.•Mounttheiplug™adaptertoanysmoothcleansurfaceusingthesupplieddouble-sidedtapeor#2x3/8”Phillipsheadscrews.

FUSEWhenreplacingthefuse,makesurenewfuseisthecorrecttypeandamperage.Usinganincorrectfusecoulddamagetheradio. TheXDMA7715usesone10ampATMfuselocatedbesidethewiringconnector.

The front panel is semi-permanently attached during assembly. Please refer to the separate yellow instructions (before installation) to make the front panel removable.

Withtheunitoff,pressEJECTtoallowthefrontpaneltoslidedown.Gentlysqueezethereleasetablocatedonthebottomcenterundersideandpullfrontpaneldownandawayfromunittoremove.Toinstall,insertleftsidefirst,thenpushrightsidetosecure.

Press POWERoranyotherbutton(exceptEJECTorOPEN)toturntheuniton.Insertingadiscwillturntheunitonautomatically.PressPOWERtoturntheunitoff.

Press MODEtoselectbetweenAM/FM,CDplayer,auxiliaryinputandBluetooth(optional).Modesofoperationareindicatedinthedisplay.

NOTE:CDandBluetoothmodeswillnotappearunlessaCDisinsertedorBTM60(Bluetoothmodule)isattached.

Adjustvolumeusingrotaryencoder(00-46).

PressandholdPOWERfor3secondstoprogramcurrentlyselectedvolumelevel."P-VOL"andthecurrentvolumelevelwillmomentarilyappearinthedisplay.

Press EQ toselectbetweenPOP,JAZZ,CLASSIC,BEAT,ROCKandOFF(default)equalizationcurves.AnyadjustmenttotheBassorTreblesettingsautomaticallycancelsthecurrentEQcurve(ifoneisselected).

WheninAM/FM,CD,orAUXmode:Press DISPtoselectbetweenclockandradiofrequency(tunermode),clockandCDelapsedtime/track(CDmodeorclockandAUX(AUXmode).

Withtheuniton,pressandholdDISPuntiltheclockbeginstoflash,thenrelease.PressTUNE nntoadjustthehoursandTUNE lltoadjusttheminutes.PressDISPmomentarilytosavetheselectedtime.

PreparationBeforeyoucanuseamobiledevicewiththisheadunit,itmustbeconnectedandauthenticated-commonlyreferredtoas"pairing"adevice.PleasemakesurethatBluetoothisactivatedonyourmobiledevicebeforeyoubeginthepairingprocess.Refertotheowner'smanualofyourmobiledeviceformoredetails.

Bluetooth Pairing1)TopairaBluetoothenabledmobilephonetoyourheadunit,press ontheheadunitorBTM60,orpressMODEuntil"DUAL_BTM60"isdisplayed.

2)Pressandhold ontheheadunitortheBTM60for5seconds,until"PAIRING"isdisplayed,theBluetoothiconwillflasheverysecond.Theheadunitwillbegintobroadcastasignalfor60seconds.

3)CompletethepairingfromtheBluetoothmenuofyourmobiledevicebysearchingfornewdevices.PleaserefertoyourmobiledeviceinstructionsforfurtherinformationonBluetoothpairingandconnections.TheBluetoothiconwillilluminatesolid. The BTM60 device name is "DUAL_BTM60."  The password for the DUAL BTM60 is 1234.  

General Notes

•DuetothedifferencesinBluetoothtechnology,somemobiledevicesmaybeincompatibleorfunctionimproperlywhenusedwiththeBTM60. •TheBTM60willstorethelasteight(8)devicesthathavebeenpairedinitsmemory.Ifmorethaneightdevicesarepaired,theheadunitwillremovetheoldestdevicefromitsmemoryandthatdevicewillhavetobepairedagain.

Connection Notes

•IfACNT is set to OFF,youmustpress toconnectafterpairing.

•FromBluetoothstandbymode,pressMUTE todisconnectyourmobiledevicefromtheBTM60.

Making a Phone Call

Press once.An"_"willappearonthedisplay.Inputthedesiredphonenumberusingthe0-9,*,#buttonsontheheadunitfrontpanel.Press tobegindialing.Aphonecallmayalsobeplacedfromyourmobiledeviceusingthekeypad,phonebookorspeeddial.Whenacallisplacedfromamobiledevice,“DIALING”willappearontheheadunitdisplay.

Last Number Dialing

Toenterlastnumberdialingmode,press ,thenpress asecondtime.Theheadunitwilldisplay"LastNumberDialing."Press KEY 0tocyclethroughthereceived,dialedormissedcallcategories.Rotatetherotary encodertocyclethroughthelast5callsintheselectedcategory.
