Dear EYP Alumni, EYP Czech Republic is extremely happy to announce the Call for Vice-Presidents, Chairpersons and Editor(s) of the XI Czech Forum Kroměříž, which will take place from 20 to 23 November 2014 in the beautiful city of Kroměříž. Officials are expected to arrive on Wednesday 19 November to take part in trainings and Officials’ Teambuilding. The city itself is well-known for its magnificent Flower Gardens and Archbishop’s Chateau, both part of UNESCO World Heritage. However, the session motto “Live for science, science for life” highlights one aspect of our world which we easily forget even if the impact on our lives is undoubtful. This four-day session will consist of one day of Teambuilding, two days of Committee Work and one day of General Assembly. Apart from that, the program will be accompanied by extra activities. We are looking for 2 Vice-Presidents, 12 Chairpersons and 1-2 Editors to join our team. The deadline for applications is Wednesday 27 August 2014 23:59:59 CEST. The Call for a Media Team will follow later in September. The Selection Panel will consist of Ms Dorothea Weber (DE), the Session President; Ms Michaela Novotná & Mr Michal Koláček, the Head-Organisers; and Ms Dorota Šuráňová, Board Member of EYP Czech Republic. Dear everyone, This year, EYP Czech Republic is organising yet another fantastic Czech Forum which I have been given the chance to preside. Next to the fact that I am extremely grateful and happy about this, I cannot wait to put together my team. As you are reading this, I assume that you might be interested in a position on the officials team of the XI Czech Forum in Kroměříž. Let me give you some information so that you know what you would be getting yourself into. My name is Doro, I am 23 years old and I live and study in Berlin. I have been a member of this organisation ever since my first National Session in 2009 and have been gathering experience in different roles along the way. I believe that the Czech Forum is a session where those with little experience can learn a lot and those with more experience can pass it on and learn from each other. Therefore, I will be looking for team players. The focus for the session will be to use the accumulated team knowledge in order to create something new and exciting for the session and possibly even for the EYP community. If you feel like the XI Czech Forum Kroměříž is something that you would be interested in then please do not hesitate to apply.
