XI. INTERNATIONAL ULUDAG CONGRESS ON INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS

14-15 OCTOBER 2019/BURSA

The International Eleventh Uludag Congress on International Relations will be held by

Uludag University, Department of International Relations in 14-15 October 2019, with the main

theme of “Main Developments and Dynamics of the Post-Cold War Era”.

The Congress aims to include research and analyses into various dimensions of political,

economic and social contemporary developments in the international system.

Even though the main themes which will be discussed during the Congress are listed

below, other papers related to the general outline of the Congress will also be evaluated.

authors together with declaration of the accepted abstracts.

ONE registration fee includes the following for registered authors:

1 Even if accepted after this date, it is not possible for the papers posted to be included in the congress program

and in the summary book. Even if not attended after registration, the fee cannot be returned.

2 Full texts will be subject to editorial and academic review prior to printing. The Congressional Committee has

the right to refuse or amend full texts.

The Congress will be held at Mete Cengiz Convention Center, Bursa Uludag University,

Gorukle, Bursa, Turkey.

TRAVEL AND ACCOMMODATION

Travel and accommodation fees are paid by the participants. However, available

accommodation alternatives will be announced in the congress website one week prior to the

event.

RULES FOR PARTICIPATION

Abstract Submission and Evaluation

The papers sent for the congress shall not have been previously presented or published

elsewhere.

The congress welcomes all academics and researchers interested in the subject from

Turkey or from abroad. The languages of the congress will be Turkish and English, with

simultaneous translation provided.

The abstracts should include the information below and submitted as an attached file

to the e-mail application@ucircongress.org by 6 September 2019.

The abstracts for the English papers shall be prepared in English and the abstracts for

Turkish papers shall be prepared in Turkish.

Paper proposals will be evaluated according to their subjects, their conformity with

scientific criteria, and their authenticity by the members of Organizational Board and the

Scientific Board. Submitted paper proposals are evaluated by at least 2 (two) referees with the

application of "blind review". Evaluations of paper proposals will be in the form of acceptance

/ rejection “according to the result of the peer reviews.”

Publication of the abstracts’ booklet

The abstracts of the papers accepted for the congress will be published and presented to

the participants upon the registration of the congress.

Submission of full texts

The full texts of the papers accepted and presented in the conference shall be revised

according to the publication guidelines (see below) and sent as an attached MS Word file to the

e-mail application@ucircongress.org by 11 November 2019.

These full texts will be published after evaluation according to their abstracts and their

conformity with scientific criteria by the Congress’s Scientific and Organizational Boards.

Submitted full texts are evaluated by at least 2 (two) referees with the application of "blind

review". Evaluations of full texts will be in the form of acceptance / rejection “according to

the result of the peer reviews.”

Papers not presented in the Congress will not be taken into consideration.

Guidelines for full texts will be announced in the congress web site.
