Pre requisite
1. Name of the machine is serverdadf - no need to change if already exist.2. .NET Framework- 2.0.507273. Installation Process of Software
1 Download the software from http://dahd.nic.in/Lstock.htm under the heading XML Module ver1.0,incorporating Generating/Validations/Verifications/Restorations/Merging XML files of Quick/Village andDetailed/Household module or copy it from CD.
2 Double click the XML_18LCv1.0 folder .The following screen appears

Then double click the debug folder. The following screen appears:

You will find the setup.exe folder click that folder in order to install the software.When you double click the setup.exe the following screen is displayed

Now the XML software is installed and you can see the XML_18LCv1.0 shortcut on the desktop fromwhere you can start your XML Module of 18 th livestock census as:

Double click the shortcut on Desktop. The following screen is displayed:
There are two links in the above form with following given names:-1. XML-Module-Quick-Tabulation-Village Level 1.0- for executing Quick Module- village level data2. XML-Module-Detailed-Tabulation-Village Level 1.0 - for executing Detailed Module household

If you will not select any of the options i.e. (State/District/Tahsil/Town Wise) according to your Levelthen it is difficult to generate Xml files properly. So select any one of the options according to your Level.
Here Level indicates if you are working in State then you will be considered as State Level for that you have to select State Wise Option, Similarly if you are working in District then you have to selectDistrict Wise Option, If you are working in Tahsil then you have to select Tahsil Wise and If you are
working in Town then you have to select Town Wise Option.
Note:-Please follow the above given instruction properly to get Optimum Result.
If you select Generate XML respectively at the state level by selecting the option State Wise Then thefollowing form will appear :-
In this you will find a button named Please Click To Validate your Data!, Then click this Button tovalidate your database accuracy, After clicking this button the whole database will be checked and if there isany discrepancy in your data a message will be displayed regarding the data discrepancy and if there is no
problem in data then you will get the screen for state wise XML generation .

If you find any error in the data then the following screen will appear with the discrepancy message of data:--
The Message is Sorry your data is Incorrect, Data can not be generated. Do you want to see yourincorrect data? Then Click Yes to see your Data discrepancy otherwise click No if you dont want tose your discrepancy or incorrect data.

If you click Yes then the following screen will appear related to the data discrepancy according to thesoftware:--
You will find five types of errors that are given below:-(1)Invalid state Code(2)Repeated Records (Duplicate Records(3)Discrepancy regarding Rural/Urban(4)Orphan Records (Without Master code)(5)Discrepancy regarding Tahsil code Ward code either zero or non zero

(1) Invalid State Code:-If State code is not in the range of 01 to 35 then Invalid State Code error will
be shown after clicking the Invalid State code Button.
And respective species will be displayed where state code is wrong and when you click one of the specie thefollowing table is displayed along with the error regarding state code

The following screen will be displayed:-
(2)Repeated Records (Duplicate Records):-If more than one same records i.e., Duplicate records are available respective to
any of the species (Buffalo, camel, cattle, etc...) then that would be shown after clicking the RepeatedRecords (Duplicate Records) Button .
(3)Discrepancy regarding Rural/Urban:- There are two conditions related to Discrepancy regarding rural/urban andmust not be violated at any cost i.e., here data must be entered according to the given conditions:-

(a) If Village code starts with 0% for ex: 01000100 then Ward Code must be 0000 andTahsil_code must have some value for ex: 0001.
(b ) If Village code starts with 4% for ex: 40101010 then Tahsil_code must be 0000 and Wardcode must have some value for ex: 4321.
(4)Orphan Records (Without Master code):- It indicates the discrepancy in data which is not according to the software. If you click this
button then six links will appear described below in the following screen:-
Breed wise :- It indicates that the entered breed code is not valid or correct i.e. invalid breed coderespective to its species. So if any incorrect breed code is entered then it is shown after clicking on theBreed Wise button .

Restore XML
If you select Restore XML respectively at the state level by selecting the option District Wise Then thefollowing form will appear :-
In this you will find a button named Please Click To merge your XML file for District, when you click this button all the data will be merged and if old file already exist, a message box will appear stating Filealready exist with name 01_livestockhh.xml into the folder c:\detailed_distmerg and will be deleted for
new merged XML file with the same name.

When the data is merged then the following screen is displayed along with the message box stating All
Tahsil and Town files are merged successfully in a single file with name 01_08_livestockhh.xMLinto the folder c:\Detailed_distmerg folder, Now you can restore it!.
After Merging theFollowing

When all the data is merged then screen of validation will appear.
The following screen is displayed:
Here click please click to validate your data and then your merged xml file will be validated and if there would be any error then the data discrepancy Form will appear and show the discrepancy inthe data as described above.But if there is No error then the Restoration form will appear.

If we will select District Wise all States XML and any State then a button will Appear with NameClick to Generate District Wise All States XML File Click it to Generate all Districts XML file for the selected State.
Click toGenerate DistrictWise All StatesXML File.

The Message will appear after generating every district wise XML for related State. According to message the file will be generated in the folder with name of respective state code
Such as jammu kashmir state code is 01 then 01 folder will be created and an xml file will begenerated in that folder with name 01_livestock.XML.Similarly all files will be created with themrepective state code named folder.
The Message will appear after generating District Wise XMLof the related State.
