“SiNan” Cup 2014 started from the renowned Yalong bay in Sanya City and it was divided into two main schedules, one is the stage track race from 19 to 20, another one is the endurance race spanning from 21 to 25. During the first period of this contest, the “FURI No.1” made a remarkable performance relying on this high capacity ship and the highly-‐qualified sailing team, ranking at the second place after the first two-‐day competition. The excellent representation by Xp50 had attracted tremendous attention from domestic media, including the sports channel CCTV-‐5, and the group chairman Mr. Zeng Xianbo, captain of this vessel Mr. Kim Petersen were interviewed by this most authorized media.
According to the competition rules, only 12 fleets could survive from the first round, and they would make an ultimate navigation to the destination point-‐“QuanFu” island. After a fierce contention between these 12 fleets, the “FURI No.1” arrived at the finishing line as the second team and was confirmed the runner-‐up by the IRC scoring system. In the process of heading for the Paracel islands, all the 12 fleets have experienced unprecedentedly beautiful coastal sceneries, leaving them the best impression for these navigation enthusiasts.
