X-‐Yachts  sparkles  in  “SiNan”  Cup

The  “SiNan”  cup  galleon  race  is  one  of  the  highest-‐level  sailing  competitions  in  China,  and  is  the  exclusive  one  which  accommodates  a  sailing  route  to  the  Paracel  Islands  in  the  South  China  Sea.  “SiNan”  cup  this  year  lasted  for  8  days  from  18  to  25  April  and  was  upgraded  by  local  government  of  Sanya,  which  means  the  southernmost  finishing  line  was  stretched  30  more  nautical  miles  than  the  previous  year,  reaching  the  “QuanFu”  island-‐an  essential  point  of  the  marine  silk  road  eventually.

FURI  Group  deployed  its  most  treasured  vessel,  the  Xp50  series  manufactured  by  X-‐Yachts  in  Denmark.  This  prestigious  brand  always  highlights  the  reliability,  relentlessness  and  speed  of  its  sailing  vessel  which  was  successfully  proven  by  all  the  skillful  crewmembers  from  FURI  Group.

“SiNan”  Cup  2014  started  from  the  renowned  Yalong  bay  in  Sanya  City  and  it  was  divided  into  two  main  schedules,  one  is  the  stage  track  race  from  19  to  20,  another  one  is  the  endurance  race  spanning  from  21  to  25.    During  the  first  period  of  this  contest,  the  “FURI  No.1”  made  a  remarkable  performance  relying  on  this  high  capacity  ship  and  the  highly-‐qualified  sailing  team,  ranking  at  the  second  place  after  the  first  two-‐day  competition.  The  excellent  representation  by  Xp50  had  attracted  tremendous  attention  from  domestic  media,  including  the  sports  channel  CCTV-‐5,  and  the  group  chairman  Mr.  Zeng  Xianbo,  captain  of  this  vessel  Mr.  Kim  Petersen  were  interviewed  by  this  most  authorized  media.

According  to  the  competition  rules,  only  12  fleets  could  survive  from  the  first  round,  and  they  would  make  an  ultimate  navigation  to  the  destination  point-‐“QuanFu”  island.  After  a  fierce  contention  between  these  12  fleets,  the  “FURI  No.1”  arrived  at  the  finishing  line  as  the  second  team  and  was  confirmed  the  runner-‐up  by  the  IRC  scoring  system.  In  the  process  of  heading  for  the  Paracel  islands,  all  the  12  fleets  have  experienced  unprecedentedly  beautiful  coastal  sceneries,  leaving  them  the  best  impression  for  these  navigation  enthusiasts.

The  FURI  Group  attributed  its  fantastic  display  to  their  emphasis  on  this  particularly  significant  sailing  event,  and  it  can  be  regarded  as  a  sailing  miracle  in  consideration  of  their  limited  team  organizing  time.  Equally  indispensable,  this  success  was  achieved  by  the  admirable  gene  inherited  from  X-‐Yachts  timeless  commitment  of  excellence.

As  the  exclusive  dealer  of  X-‐Yachts  in  China,  FURI  Group  has  promised  to  frequently  participate  in  such  sailing  events,  promoting  this  deserved  sailing  vessel.
