INTRODUCTION
WATER RETICULATION DESIGNThis design is using Hazen William formula is given by
V=0.8492CR^0.63*S^0.54 (SI units)
V= velocity in m/s
R= hydraulic radius in m
C= Hazen-William roughness coefficient
S=slope of energy grade line (head loss per unit lenght of conduit)

Tapping point at node 1
The network analysis was carried out using Aquator software. The input data are all in SI unit.Using the software, the nodes are created and pipes are interconnected among the nodes.(refer Figure given). The lengths, diameter, roughness are then assigned to these pipes. Secondly the offtakes at nodes in liter per second are extracted from the nodes. After that,the fixed grade /s (i.e the safe pressure at tapping points) is assigned.The data are then analysed and checked against the design criteria. Where necessary, the pipes diameter is carried out until the design criteria are met or close to the requirement depending on case by case situation.
