Parks, Recreation & LibraryFall and Winter Program Guide 2014/2015
Message from the Director The Parks, Recreation and Facilities Department and Wickenburg Public Library are happy to announce our 2014/2015 Fall and Winter Program Guide. The Fall and Winter program is our most expansive and diverse programming the department has provided during these seasons. These programs bring us closer to fulfilling the Town Council’s vision in the Wickenburg Strategic Plan to provide year-round recreational programming. This upcoming season, the department is introducing new programming such as a Family Fitness Challenge, Fitness Classes, Drop and Shop, computer classes and a special guest reading program at the library. The department is also continuing community favorites such as the Wickenburg Trail Series, Wickenburg Hoops, Parents Night Out and Movie in the Park!
All information on these programs and special events can be found on the Town website and the department online registration page. As a reminder, the online registration page accepts credit card payments and electronic checks.
The fall and winter season also welcomes back the team roping and rodeos to Wickenburg. These activities are important for economic development in Wickenburg. Please make sure to visit the Wickenburg Rodeo Grounds, host an event ongoing almost every day of the week. For a complete list of events please, check the Town of Wickenburg website in November. I would also like to thank the staff of the Parks, Recreation, Library and Facilities team. They work hard to manage and maintain the Town’s parks, library, rodeo grounds, facilities, streetscapes, trails, and recreational programming. We look forward to seeing all of you at our upcoming programming. Robert Carmona
