BRRRR!!!! Please make sure that your children come dressed for the weather. Until the wind-chill dips below 20°, we go outside for recess, so warm coats, gloves and hats are a must. Please remember to label student clothing. Particularly for the little ones. Thank you! Indoor Lineups Starting this week, we will begin lining students up inside each morning. As our hallways get quite congested please make sure to drop your students off in the main lobby at 9:00 a.m. each morn- ing. Our Gators are just fine lining up outside of their classrooms on their own. As always, feel free to call me (692-2230) or email me at [email protected] if I can help with anything! No call-downs after 3:30 pm As a reminder, we will not call students down to the office after 3:30 p.m. Students should be signed out and de- parture arrangements must be made prior to 3:30 p.m. After 3:30 p.m., students will simply be dismissed with their peers at 3:50 p.m. Half-Day Dismissal As a reminder, our half-day dismissal time is 12:10 p.m. Parent-Teacher Conferences Thank you for making every effort to join us for Parent-Teacher Conferences. Children thrive in school when their parents are actively involved in their education. Student Drop Off is 9:00 a.m. Student DROP OFF time in the morning is 9:00 am. Please contact our Champions Before and After school program should you require a drop off time prior to 9:00 am. (734-379-7070 or 734-789-2980) Unfortunately, we do not have the staff to supervise students that are being dropped off any earlier. Veterans Day, Saturday, November 11, 2017 The Origins of Veterans Day -- World War I ended on November 11, 1918. On the same date three years later an unknown soldier from that

war was buried at Arlington National Cemetery. November 11 eventually became the date when America honors all who have served the United

States in war.

On Friday & Saturday, let’s do our part to shake a Veteran’s hand and thank that person for

the freedoms that we enjoy each and every day. Let us never forget their sacrifices...

PTO Meeting Please join us for our next PTO meeting scheduled for 6:00 p.m. in the Yake media center on Tuesday, November 15th.

Achatz Pie Pick-up Don’t forget to pick up your Achatz pie orders and

your Great American Fundraiser (fall fundraiser)

cookie dough and frozen items starting at noon on

Thursday, November 10th. This is a half-day of

school for our students, so come by to pick up your

pies when picking up your Gators. We do not have

the freezer space to store any pie orders not picked

up on November 10th.


Recommended
