Expectations – 1 Maths Task + 1 Literacy Task Each Day and 1 Topic Task per week
This task overview sheet is designed to be used by parents and pupils in the event of a school closure. Tasks and activities do not need to be completed in the order that they are written. Once a task is completed write the date that it was completed underneath the task. Please return this task sheet to your child’s class teacher on their return to school. Using the sea creature tally chart from yesterday
complete the pictogram. Each smile is worth 2 children.
The Clown Fish, Octopus, Seahorse and Angel fish have
been done for you. Think about why have they used half
a smile?
Draw the pictogram in your book and write the name of
the fish and draw the picture underneath so you know
what the sea creature looks like.

crab, fish? Record this in your book.

Can you count and add any other minibeasts to your
graph?

Think about the Rainbow Fish in the story. What type of
character was she?
Pick the qualities from the list that describe the Rainbow
fish at the beginning and then at the end of the story.
Can you sort the qualities and complete the table in your
book?
Qualities: unkind, proud, happy, rude, friendly,
thoughtful, kind, lonely and nasty. Can you write any of
your own to describe the rainbow fish?
