Year 3/4 Welcome Back!

Term 4 is here and we‘re back in the thick of it. With our production fast approaching,

students have been practising tirelessly. We had an amazing time at Camp Jungai

including some memorable activities such as possum pull, ropes courses, canoeing,

rafting and decorating and throwing boomerangs. This term we are investigating food

and fibre production from farm to plate in Design Technology. In Digital Technology

students will explore different digital systems and devices to transmit data to provide a

digital solution. They will also build an understanding of Australian Government in

decision making processes, roles and responsibilities in Civics and Citizenship. We look

forward to a jam packed unit of inquiry to finish off the 2018 year.

THINGS TO REMEMBER School starts at 8:50, by 9:00 we are into our lesson. If a student is late,

please sign in at the office, students must be signed in by their parent.

Please email, Flexibuzz, phone or write a note to your teacher or the

school when your child is absent.

To stop the spread of illness in our level, please keep your child at

home when they are unwell. Home is a much better place for them to

recover and minimises the risk of further illness spreading.

To help with sniffles, we would love boxes of tissues to be shared in our

learning spaces.

Students eat ’Brain Food’ throughout the day to help them focus.

Brain food

consists of fresh fruit and vegetables.

If your child walks to and from school without an adult can you please

let the classroom teacher know.
