Year 4 Celebration Page
Well done to everyone this week, it was fantastic to be able to talk to many of you during the phone calls. I am very pleased to hear you are all well and
keeping safe. That is the most important thing at the moment. Some children were able to email me work and I am very happy to see the effort you are all
putting in and that standards are not slipping. I’m very proud of all of you, it is very difficult to remain motivated and focused during times like this and it
can be hard when you don’t have the support of a teacher so well done to you all, children and parents.
Padraig has drawn thermometers to
help him visualise the changing
temperatures. Very good idea
remembering that we have worked on
visualising in class during the Autumn
term.
Briella has chosen to use word
processing for all of her work
which is very impressive and a
good way to practice ICT skills.
I am very impressed with Lillian’s
creation of her own worksheets
to organise and present her
work. Lillian also engaged with
the work across the whole
curriculum.
Ore has shown a brilliant
understanding of
negative numbers and
counting in a variety of
steps across 0.
Joel has put a lot of
thought and
consideration into his
answers regarding
Jesus’s choosing of the
apostles and how we can
contribute to our own
communities.
Janet has put a lot of effort
into her work this week, I am
particularly impressed with
her work in English and the
level of effort she has
applied, and her presentation
in maths is brilliant.
Precious has put a lot of effort into her maths and
included a beautiful painting. I’m always happy to
receive any extra-curricular work that was not
assigned. Lovely use of colour and wash techniques.
Despite being at home
Anjola has not allowed
that to detract from
her regard for
presentation and the
quality of her work.
I really enjoyed
reading the English
work.
Thanks to everyone for sending in work, it’s really good to see everyone working hard across the
whole curriculum. Can I ask that you take a few more close up photos as they are easier to read?
