Typing games
In today’s digital world, being able to type
accurately and quickly is a useful skill that most
of us need to practise. Have a go at playing
any of these typing games. Remember that
using two hands to type is much quicker than
using one!

Art
You may have noticed posters like these on the
windows of houses and cars. People display these to
show their support for doctors, nurses and everyone
else who has been working hard during this pandemic.
We would like you to create a poster showing your
support. You could choose to make a rainbow poster
like this, or create your own original design.
You could also make a rainbow chain of people by
following these steps:
Cereal box organiser
Messy bedroom? Too many books? Have a go at making
this awesome organiser using just some scissors and a
cereal box.
Ask an adult to help you cut the box diagonally to create
your organiser. Then decorate it any way you want!
Design a board game
You could design a board game based on a
popular classic or create your own original design.
The board and pieces could be made out of
anything you can find at home - cereal boxes are
normally easy to find!
We suggest that you draw a rough sketch of your
board game on a piece of paper first!
Sketching
Many artists can create detailed, realistic drawings using
only a pencil.
Think about what you would like to draw. This could be
your pet, a person, any object around the house,
something outside or even a scene from your favourite
film.
Take your time when creating your sketch. You
can’t rush a work of art!
Cartoon Family
Every wondered what your family would look like as a
cartoon? We would love you to have a go at drawing
your family or friends by turning them into a cartoon. Have
a look at these ideas to help you, or try to follow along
with this step-by-step video: https://vimeo.com/126463279
You could colour your cartoon people afterwards, or
even make a comic strip if you wanted!
