retrieve as much information about them as you can:

DAY 3 – Vocabulary
Bronze: An idiom is a phrase which is said to mean something very different to what the words would suggest. For example ‘raining
cats and dogs’ does not mean pets are falling from the sky, Instead it means that it is raining very heavily. Similarly, ‘Pull your socks up’
does not mean your socks have fallen down. Instead, it means that you need to try harder.
Connect each these idioms which include weather words with what they actually mean.
Break the ice
to feel sick or unhealthy.
As right as rain

Every cloud has a silver lining
to take attention away from
someone on their special day i.e. a
wedding or birthday.
Steal someone’s thunder
to feel well, alright.
To be on cloud nine
to get a conversation started in a
social situation, break the awkward
silence when meeting someone new.
