District Cross Country Competition 2019On Tuesday 12th November, Miss Cameron and Mrs Redpath took the Year 8 and 9
Cross Country teams to compete in the District Cross Country competition at Queenswood school.
The Autumn weather was perfect for Cross Country and the girls were able to put in some incredible performances.
Notable performances from:Caitie Reid -(Year 8) 7th out of 70+ girls
Amelie Hobbs (Year 9) 5th out out of 70+ girlsAmelie Robson (Year 9) 10th out of 70+ girls
Millie Richardson (Year 9) 11th out of 70+girls
This meant the Year 8 team finished in 4th place in their year group and the Year 9 team finished in 2nd place in their year group helping Bishop’s to 3rd place out of 12
schools.
An excellent achievement and congratulations to all of the girls involved!

Year 8 and 9 County Cross Country Competition 2020
On Saturday 2nd February 2020, Miss Cameron and Mrs Redpath took the a selection of girls to compete in the
Hertfordshire Cross Country competition at Westminster Lodge in St Albans.
The Spring weather was perfect for Cross Country and the girls were able to put in some solid individual
performances, even more impressive considering none of the girls were available for the District round in November
due to a school trip.
The girls showed great commitment to training and were enthusiastic and hardworking throughout.
Well done to all of the girls involved!L-R (Top Row)Olivia Riley, Millie Richardson and Daniella Skater.
L-R (Bottom Row) Amelie Hobbs, Amelie Robson and Caitie Reid.
English Schools Cross Country Championship 2020The best performance of the day came from Daniella Skater (9Pa) who
finished 6th in her age group to automatically qualify for the Hertfordshire
Schools team to compete at the English Schools Cross Country
Championships.
This was a fantastic achievement for Daniella who received her
Hertfordshire vest and hoodie immediately after (see picture to the right).
Daniella represented Hertfordshire at the English Schools Championships in
Liverpool at Sefton Park in Liverpool on March 14th 2020. She put in a
brilliant performance to finish in 140th position out of 328 girls.
Congratulations Daniella!
District Swimming Competition 2019On Tuesday 8th October, Miss Cameron took the Junior (Yr8) and Intermediate (Yr 9) Swim teams over to Queenswood School for
the District Swimming competition.
Both teams competed in two races - 4 x 50m Medley Relay and 4 x 50m Front Crawl Relay against Queenswood, Monks Walk and
Dame Alice Owen School.
The girls put in some exceptional individual and team performances to win all of their races in both age groups to finish
as District Champions.
This is a phenomenal achievement considering the girls had no time to train as a team and we don’t even have a swimming pool!
Well done to all of the girls involved!
Year 9 team (L-R) Millie Richardson, Amelie Robson, Annabel Isbecque, Megan Carolan and Amelie Hobbs.
