HAVE A GREAT SUMMER!

Showing Our Spirit of Giving ‐ to the Grand Goave School in HaiUSeven years ago two former Abbotsford principals started the “Heart to Heart” charity to help the Grand Goave School in HaiU. A few years ago a massive earthquake devastated HaiU. The school was virtually fla\ened. Over the years efforts have been made to rebuild the school but it has been a slow process.  Each year in the spirit of giving the Heart to Heart charity asks for dona6ons of gently used and new school supplies to help this school. We are once again asking for your kind support for this worthy cause. School supplies can be dropped off to the box marked “Heart to Heart” in the front foyer. We know that the Auguston TradiUonal community pracUces the virtue of generosity! Thank‐you for your help!

Students who are recognized on the Academic Honour Roll will have achieved a 3.1 grade point average (A = 4, B = 3, C+ = 2, C = 1.5, C‐ = 1) in the four academic subjects (English, Math, Social Studies, Science).  Students on the Effort Honour Roll will meet the following criteria: Students must demonstrate consistent effort in all assignments, homework and assessments. In addiUon, Gr. 4 students may not have more than three homework slips in the term.  Grade 5 students may not have more than two homework slips in the term. Students  on the Academic and Effort Honour Roll each term will have their names displayed in a school newsle\er. Congratula6ons to all our inter‐mediate students that made it on to the third term Honour Roll.
