Everyone, go ahead and give yourselves a HUGE pat on the back for an
outstanding job with our Parish-wide Canned Food Drive. With your help, we were
able to collect over 500 lbs of canned and boxed goods! It is because of you and
your donations that we are able to reach families in and around the East Baton
Rouge area and ensure that they don’t go hungry this holiday season.
On Monday, November 19, the East Baton Rouge Jr. Leaders delivered the
collected goods to the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank. While there, members
were taken on a tour of the facility and informed about all that the food bank does.
We would like to thank the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank for their hospitality
and look forward to future collaborations with them.
