The plot where we’re going
to project on our
building is located in
Granada city, in the south
of Spain, in the center of
the city, as we can see.
Therefore It’s an area
with so much transit
during all day, that is
characterized by nearly
cultural buildings like the
cathedral of Granada,
museums, or important
squares that aireat this
zone.
It is a little chaotic urban
tissue because it isn’t a
zone of new construction,
it has a long history
behind. However, in the
immediate plot’s
enviroment we usually
find new houses in the
most part, belonging to
2O century urban sprawl.

We can see how the
neighborhood we are has
expanded around the
cathedral’s environment
over time. This way, the
orchard in this zone has
lost so much space
because of this expansion.
Over the years, the
building has increased ,
specially in the 20
century with the Colon’s
via and Catholics kings via
openings that gave way to
the great urban expansion
in this century, forming
the area as we see now.
