• Rebuild the architecture with SDN+NFV tech.
– In 2012, OXN 1.0 used private protocol to build a SDN-like architecture,
and proved that it is possible to control massive edge devices (over 2
million) in a central cloud mode
– In 2012, OXN 1.0 used NFV-like method (without using virtualization
tech.) to deploy and manage functional plugins in the edge devices.
– From 2015, we will try to rebuild the architecture with standard
SDN/NFV tech. (like ONOS/OVS/Docker/etc.), and contribute to the
community.
