Writing Tasks

1. Imagine that you are Daisy and that you have just come back from your

Summer Holiday. Write a Diary Entry about the holiday (you could write about

all of it or about just one day) and the things that you did, for example,

swimming in the pool, going scuba diving, playing on the beach. Remember to

write about your feelings too.

2. Design your own Holiday Hotel and create a leaflet all about it. Remember

to include the name of your hotel as your title, sub-headings and information

about your hotel. Describe it using Expanded Noun Phrases to make it sound

exciting and draw some pictures if you’d like to.

Remember that Daisy thought there should have been a warning about cats in

her holiday leaflet. Should you add this in too? It’s your choice!
