SCHOLARSHIPS:• Most Presidential Scholars receive
full tuition and fees, renewable every semester.
• Textbooks are provided for most Presidential Scholar courses through the lending library.
• Opportunities are available for transfer scholarships to several universities.
CURRICULUM:• Presidential Scholar core curriculum
mirrors that of nearly all “regular” core requirements.
• Students normally take one Presidential Scholar course each semester.
• Additional honors courses are also available in most departments.

2. Apply for AC Foundation scholarships by Feb. 1st. Visit www.actx.edu/foundation and click on General Scholarships
3. The most qualified students will be asked to complete an interview
On an additional page, please complete a computer generated narrative of 250-500 words explaining the reasons you wish to become an Amarillo College Presidential Scholar.
High school students: include a copy of your transcript or a note from a counselor indicating your current GPA and class rank.
A renewable scholarship, travel awards and mentors are offered to Presidential Scholars.
