Anastasia La Fey is a costumier and couturier with an integral philosophy rooted deep in the practice of true craftsmanship. Her explorations of cloth span the realms of both art and design, with a particular interest in costume for dance.
Anastasia was pleased to be commissioned as costume designer for the Young Dancers Association’s presentation of The Magic Toyshop (24 January 2015 at the Gladstone Entertainment Convention Centre), and was invited to display her costumes, fashion designs and other works from the ballet’s production at the Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum from 19 December 2014 to 14 February 2015.
