DesignSuite Software GrandScope 5.0 StudioAlbums/PhotoBooks Overview: What Grandscope can do for you Highlights: Fascinating New Features Customizing : Options to make this your software Design your own startpage by changing the name of the software and adding your own start screen picture. All work screens will automatically show this picture/logo as well. Decide to eliminate any cover size you do not want to offer, or add them again later. Assign your individual product codes and prices for each article. Vary the maximum number of pages per book – for example if you decide to process the new type of thin „photobook paper“ parallel to standard paper. Change album formats retroactively. This is an option for the enduser as well. You can now print a book designed in 8x12“ (20x30cm) and also print additional copies in 6x9” (15x23cm). However, please observe the following remarks** below. Customer images can now be enhanced by you. A new function allows to export the complete customer data file for correction/adjustment in your own “Photoshop*” or other program. A new „RGB“ filter allows you to adjust high and low values of fundamental colours red/green/blue. The calendar function now includes the option to individually mark birthdays, celebrations and local holidays. Features: Utilities, capabilities, specifications Clixx´Pixx DesignSuite GrandScope 5.0 is an expert tool for the photo dealer to play a dominant role in the evolving market of photo books. It is a direct evolution of the authentic Clixx´Pixx DesignSuite, which enjoys an excellent reputation in the trade due to its simplicity and user friendliness. GrandScope 5.0 allows you to extent the design part of the software to your customers free of charge, while the end user can order from you individualized products, which you can process and manufacture in house. After entering the Promaxx Management System with your password, the Dashboard (A) gives you a summary of your profile. Tabs on its top line let you change a variety of parameters: For example, you may individualize your software with your name and logo (B). Select any book covers from our standard portfolio (C) to become your individual product line (D), in which you define product description, article numbers, prices and more. The GrandScope DesignSuite 5.0 is designed on a dialogue principle between your local computer and our host server, in which you „own“ a section that is dedicated to your needs. With your serial license number and password you have access any time to update or change your portfolio of products, or adjust other parameters. If you maintain a FTP account and you want your customers to order online, we offer a software option handling FTP (File Transfer Protocol) transfer. Shown below is the initial interaction with GrandScope Managementsystem and eventual changing your product portfolio at a later time. Simply start with choosing a product from the shop portfolio and decide on a layout scheme to start with...... Select the file with your favoured pictures and fill the layout by drag-and-drop........ .... change layouts while you are designing - choosen pictures will pop into the new spaces - or mark several pictures and pull them into the album..... Before you place the order, use the PREVIEW feature to make sure all pages look like you want them to look. The ordering dialogue provides the opportunity, to change the originally selected cover, to add additional copies of the album in smaller sizes - it also calculates the total price of the purchase . The book is designated by title, personal data is added and customer decides where to pick up the finished book (if such option is offered) . In a final step the user decides how to transfer the data - via CD, Flash- disk (USB-stick) or via FTP server . .... add frames and shadows to your pictures for more effect or place a selected picture as background -- for added visual impact -- try to make this in b/w with colour pictures on top - very imposing! Enhance the quality of your shots by using a variety of graphic filters....... .... insert blank pages wherever you desire to add more pictures of a certain context or swap pages to make the storyline more meaningful..... ...... and tell your strip meaningful by adding information in any type style, size or colour you like! .pmp File Format Acts as a storage in which all original data and their position in the book are kept. Files are neither compressed nor trimmed. Changes such as repeated reduction or enlargement, movement within the „frame“ or exchange of pictures are still possible. Text will only be referenced to the equivalent type font on the originating computer. .pmp is the format in which the customer stores his book for further use, change or upgrade on his computer. Important: .pmp files cannot be handled by the shop to produce photo pages! .pex File Format All original file formats and their position in the book are kept. Files are compressed and trimmed. Text is converted and embedded. .pex is the format from which the shop produces photo pages. Important: .pex files of GrandScope 5.0 vary from earlier .pex formats. Your Shop Your Shop • Select Profile and enter your personal parameters • Press Update Profile Information • Add second shop address if required, (for pick up information) • Press Add store • Select Promaxx Products • Select the covers you want to add to your portfolio and press save selection • In Your product portfolio, by using the edit button, alter all text, add prices etc. • When complete Save changes • After purchasing the software you receive a mail containing your company key. 1 1 1 2 1 2 How does it work? A brief intro to the system Customer satisfaction: Photobook design with a smile on their face System Requirements: Download your Software • Choose ProLab Software and download the file. After your installation you will be asked for a serial number. You find your serial number in the Managment- system as serial licence number Customer • Choose now CD master when you want to burn CDs for your customers or Internet download if you wish to place the file on your website for download. • Choose Download Software.
