Day one equips you with the tools to describe yourself, your skills, and your company. You will learn how to effectively communicate with others by using precise, specific language to portray yourself, your ideas, and your ethos in the best light.

Onto the market - who are the customers and what do they want? We’ll discuss marketing strategies and compile a mini-marketing plan for your chosen start up. What new forms of marketing can weleverage today? The day will culminate with a presentation of a marketing campaign.

Money, money, money: It’s all about profit and loss, cash flow, and how to discuss financials. We’ll hold a meeting and look into useful lexis. We’ll end by discussing a given cash flow in a role-play meeting.

You’ll learn language for effective negotiations and begin preparing for your ‘pitch’ to an investor. You’ll need to use everything covered during the course to perform well and know your numbers to beable to justify your figures under scrutiny.

Courses are led by two senior trainers who minimally hold an MA / MBA / DELTA / DipTESOL or equivalent qualification with significant experience in business and business training. Our trainers provide our own course materials.

Students complete an English language level test, needs analysis and ‘learning style’ questionnaire prior to arrival.

This allows us to create a unique coursefor the group or individual which is specificto the industry and activities carried out by the students in their roles. Finally, it by the students in their roles. Finally, it ensures that teaching style is appropriateto the students’ learning styles and problemareas.

Upon completion of the course, delegatesare awarded a certificate detailing content and hours covered, their ‘can do’ abilities, and a separate report which gives specific follow up activities to further advance their oral, written and functional English skills.

We turn to products, services, operations and logistics in day two. We’ll study the working practices of local and international businesses, discuss management structures and role-play activities for a wide range of business functions.

To start off your visit, you’ll need to see the city with our walkingtour. We’ll make a stop in one of Cardiff’s oldest pubs or the brand new micro-brewery.

Learning bites: exploreStudents’ learning experiences do not end at 5pm. We have a full range of additional activities that we like to call ‘learning bites’. Supported by the presence of a qualified teacher, students practise their newly-acquired language skills in relaxed, open, refreshing surroundings.

If there’s an activity or tour you would like to do - remember - imagination is the only limit, talk to usto arrange a custom activity. We love to get creative with our students and organise special trips.

The tour starts with a visit to Britain's best-preserved Roman town - Caerleon - "Fort of the Legion”. The next Roman town on our route is Caerwent as we drive through this village to see what was once a thriving market town. You cross the majestic market town. You cross the majestic rivers Usk and Wye to reach the spectacular monastic ruin at Tintern Abbey. We’ll continue onto Raglan Castle - another majestic Welsh castle.

Our tour of the Gower Peninsulawith its golden sandy beaches, stunning coastline and prehistoric wonders.

Fancy becoming a big-kid for the day? The adrenaline rush from the'enemy' charging at you has to be experienced to be believed. After the inevitable pre-game nerves participants are usually in fits oflaughter. laughter.

Come and explore the magnificent facets and features that make the Millennium Stadium one of the most impressive icons of modern Wales. Learn about the only palletised pitch system and fully retractable roof in the UK, which allows the entire playing UK, which allows the entire playing surface to be removed to create one of the world's largest indoor arenas. Take in the view of the pitch from a VIP hospitality suite, and finally lift the trophy to the skies like a sporting superstar in the President's Box, an area normally reserved for royalty.reserved for royalty.
