Brisas Art Walk Our annual Art Walk this past Thursday celebrated the artistic achievements of
all our Brisas students. What a wonderful family event to showcase students’
artwork done throughout the school year in art class and during our Art
Masterpiece program. We are so grateful to Nicole and John Quillan, Art
Masterpiece Coordinators, who orchestrated this event. Thank you to all our Art
Masterpiece Volunteers (see below) and Art Teachers (Ms. Yazzi, Mrs. Laine,
and Mrs. Saverino) for their time, dedication and talents. Thank you to Mallet Masters, led by Karen Monks, who
entertained us in the MPR. Thank you to all of our volunteers who helped out in so many ways. You’re amazing!

Girls on the Run ~ 5K Success! On Saturday, twenty-five girls completed a 5K for Girls on the Run. These girls have worked hard all season long
training for this big event. Along the way they learned how to be positive towards themselves, friends, and the
community. These girls represented Brisas with smiles and determination. Afterwards, we celebrated the girls and
all of their accomplishments over the season. The GOTR coaches are so proud of all of our Brisas Girls! A special
thank you goes to our GOTR coaches: Beth Dibble, Kristina Foster, Stephanie Calabretti, Nicole Burt, Jen Gloria,
Michaela Gibbs, Katie Solomon, and Donna Rugg. These ladies volunteered their time and inspired our girls to be
joyful, healthy, and confident! Thank you and congratulations!

The Lifeskill of “Appreciations” This past week, Ms. Pancratz 1

their family members, teachers, volunteers and aides.
These students put their words of appreciation in
