Early Admission Exercise (EAE)
What is EAE?
• The Polytechnic Early Admissions Exercise (Poly EAE) is an aptitude-
based admissions exercise that allows students to apply for and receive
conditional offers for admission to polytechnics prior to receiving their O
Level grades.
• Polytechnics will admit students based on their aptitudes, interests,
talents and strengths apart from academic grades.
• Allows a wider range of talents and passions to be recognised.
• Participating Polys: NYP, NP, RP, SP, TP (All five)
• Approx. 20% of Poly intake in 2018 via EAE.
