STEP 1

Preparing ART Kits for Distribution

IMPORTANT NOTES FOR PACKING

Refrain from talking,and maintain a safe distanceof 2m if there is more than

1 packing staff.

Keep all unused itemsin a clean storage box.

Wash and dry your hands thoroughly.

Put on your surgical mask, face shield and

disposable gloves.

STEP 1

PACKING THE ART KITS

Check expiry date of the test kits before packing.

In the ART bulk box that you have received, you will only need these 4 items.

Test cartridge

Extraction tube and blue cap

Buffer bottle(able to fill up to

25 extraction tubes)

Sterileswab stick

Fill-line

CLEAN PACKING SURFACE WITH A

70% ALCOHOL WIPE

PREPARE THE EXTRACTION TUBE

Take the cap off the buffer bottle. Hold the buffer bottle vertically and

fill the extraction tube with the buffer fluid until it reaches the

fill-line of the extraction tube. Close the extraction tube with the blue cap.

Keep a 3m distancefrom the employee whois doing the self-swab.

If it’s virtual supervision via Zoom or Whatsapp video, please take note of employee’s results by getting them to show it to you on the camera after the test results appear in 15 minutes.

SELF-SWAB INSTRUCTIONS

For ABBOTT PANBIO Antigen Rapid Test

Please clean your hands before starting

the test.

Before starting the test, please take out 1

Swab stick, 1 Test cartridge and 1 Extraction tube. Take the test cartridge out from its packaging.

2 3 Insert the swab stick into the nostril

(~2cm) while gently rotating. Twirl the stick 5 times while in the nostril.

4Remove swab stick from package.

Repeat for the other nostril with the same

swab stick.

Swirl the swab tip in the buffer fluid against

the walls of the extraction tube for at least 5 times.

6 Squeeze the tube to extract the sample.

7 Break the swab stick at the breakpoint and

leave the swab stick in the tube. Close the cap of the extraction tube.

Use your finger to gently tap the side of

the tube a few times. This helps to mix the solution.

Open the nozzle cap at the bottom of the

extraction tube.

10 Squeeze 5 drops of the solution in the

sample well of the test cartridge. Close the nozzle cap once you are done.

11 Wait for 15 minutes before checking the

results on the test cartridge. Please keep the cartridge on a flat surface during this time.

Dispose all used items in the test kit into one plastic bag and tie it up with a

rubber band or cable tie. Place the tied bag into another plastic bag and tie the second plastic bag with a rubber band or cable tie. Throw it into the rubbish chute immediately.

Clean your hands after the test.

Read the results on the test cartridge. If you see a line appearing at both the

“C” and the “T” position, this indicates a positive test. Please seek medical attention for further evaluation and confirmatory testing.

STEP 3

Uploading ART results on SRSResults will be uploaded by Swab Supervisors

a. Scan QR code of employee to register.

b. When test result is available, click Pending Result for that employee.

c. Input test results.

d. Click Submit.

a. Access the results uploading site via your company specific SRS link.

b. Follow the instructions on the site to fill up the necessary details.

c. Click Verify when all details have been filled up.
