Your Home Insurance Policy Summary

Before reading this Policy Summary, we just want to remind you of a few things.

Firstly, Nationwide Home Insurance is underwritten by Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance plc. That means we’ve worked closely with them to make sure you can rely on your insurance policy.

Secondly, your contract is for a year. You can renew it each year, according to the terms and conditions at each renewal date. You can select Contents, Buildings, Home Emergency and Legal Cover and you can also add optional extra cover, depending on your needs. Full details of what you’ve chosen are shown on your Policy Schedule.

The following tables are a summary of the main policy benefits, limits and exclusions. For full details of these and all the terms and conditions, you’ll need to read the Policy Wording booklet. You’ll be given a copy of this when you’ve completed your contract, or you can ask for a copy whenever you like. Once you receive your policy documents, you’ll have 14 days to decide if you’d like to cancel your policy.

Take a look at ‘Your right to cancel your policy’ on page 9 for more information.
