Tavern 2.0: Since March 2018, the Alte Pulverturm has sailed under a new flag, as Klamm & Heinrich. The Pulverturm was opened in 1828 and is one of the oldest taverns in Münster. It is located directly on the promenade which bor-ders the Altstadt and the Kreuzviertel districts of Münster.
In the history of the Pulverturm, there have been several changes in the people running the establishment, all of whom have left their own mark. The first ope-
rator of the Pulverturm, according to the official documents, was called ... can you guess? That’s right: Heinrich. The (secretive) name change to Klamm & Heinrich is therefore clearly a return to the strengths of the Pulverturm: West-phalian tavern culture, a relaxed pub-like atmosphere and a beautiful beer garden. In addition, the meeting room offers space for private or business events, with approx. 40 places. For bigger events, the beer garden and/or the guest rooms can also be rented.
