HSFPP Curriculum Training for Teachers and Volunteers Join University of Maryland Extension and MD|DC Credit Union Association as they hosta FREE personal finance training that will prepare high school teachers and adultvolunteers/educators to teach Personal Finance to teenagers. The one-day training will beheld July 18, 2019 at MD|DC Credit Union Association (8975 Guilford Road, Suite 190) in Columbia,MD. High School teachers, (Family & Consumer Sciences, Personal Finance, Social Studies,Business, Economics, and Math etc.), Middle School 8th grade teachers and volunteer educators arealso encouraged to attend to learn about the High School Financial Planning Program developed by theNational Endowment for Financial Education. Free breakfast and lunch will be provided. Please clickhere to register.

Members willgather at a rail station in the county and be responsible for navigatingthemselves to Georgetown for an afternoon of photography.Educators Alex and Gretchen will only point out major deviations from theplanned route - otherwise, it's up to the kids to get us all to our destination!This is just one of many life skills that our club members gain from being in
