Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, dear Congress Participants:

Information and communication technology is by farthe largest technology sector in Hessen. In theRhine-Main-Neckar district alone, the European top100 software companies generate more than half oftheir total revenue. In addition, from an internationalperspective, Hessen is a frontrunner in many informa-tion technology user industries.

This is a wonderful reason to present new trends andsuccessful practical examples. For the second time, the iTEC has now showcased the IT location Hessenfrom the perspective of international experts. It pro-vides a great forum.

Another key topic of the event is the internationaliza-tion of local companies. We can only excel in our owncountry when our companies are active and success-ful in international markets.

Use the multiplicity of offers provided by the iTEC10and the action-line Hessen-IT and tell us how we cansupport you to increase your company’s success withthe help of IT.

    Your

Dieter PoschHessian Minister of Economics, Transport,Urban and Regional DevelopmentPatron of the iTEC 10
