appointments, lockup, school work Also sometimes being in a tuff situation as

breaking up fights between inmates.

She is a youth correctional officer

I contacted Mrs. Williams threw her daughter Lillian Williams and did an interview over phone

good health physically fit, good of hearing & eyesight, and to be able to write reports and evaluations on

accidents that will happen in details.

Bachelors or masters degree in Criminal

Training 8 weeks at Academy

8 weeks at academy plus yrs. of experience

mace-used to spray criminals that are temporary out of control

expandable baton-use to retain inmates Handcuffs-to control the inmates Radio-to call for back-up or to respond to calls Flashlight- used to be able to see in dark Gun-use to protect yourself Uniform, badge and name tag (stripes), identification

card

type reports and evaluations It can sometimes be stressful!!!! Using Microsoft excel & Office

Must be at least 18 to 21 years of age

Wage salary is 4,500 a month with having an AA degree in criminal justice

Learn discipline Meet people Can lead to higher things such as being an

officer Help others Good experience!

this career is something that would work for anyone including me

It’s something I’m interested in doing for a living.

Like I said before this can lead to higher positions.
