WelcomeWelcome to a new season of music-makingopportunities presented by Music for Everyonedesigned especially for young people.
We have a whole host of yyoouutthh cchhooiirrss and iinnssttrruummeennttaall eennsseemmbblleess who enjoy making music ona regular basis under the inspiration of our team ofexcellent music professionals.
We know that not everyone can commit to a regulargroup so we have oonnee--ooffff wwoorrkksshhooppss taking placethroughout the year which attract some of the bestyoung musical talent from across the East Midlands.

Girls’ Voices is two great choirs for girls who want to sing awide variety of music from classical to pop and folk, all in a fun,relaxed environment. Girls aged 7 - 10 are introduced to greatsongs with their charismatic conductor Jane McDouall.
Elizabeth Lee continues to develop the girls’ vocal ability conducting the senior group for girls aged 11 - 13.
Boys’ Voices inspires boys aged7 - 10 to plough their energy intosinging and enjoy performing aspart of a group. Conducted byRichard Arblaster, boys get the opportunity to sing great musicand play fun music games.
Nottingham Cambiata, meaning ‘the emerging voice’ is aunique choir for boys aged 11 - 18 whose voices are just maturing. Music is carefully selected across genres by conductor Alex Patterson to allow for voice change and forthe boys to sing with confidence and enthusiasm.
Rehearsals: Tuesdays, 6.15pm - 7.30pm (weekly duringterm time) at Nottingham Emmauel School, West Bridgford

EMYV is a specialist chamberchoir for talented singers aged14-24 who wish to sing to thehighest possible standard. Thechoir sings a wide variety of interesting and challenging
music led by conductor Alex Patterson and performthroughout the East Midlands to critical acclaim.
Rehearsals: Tuesdays, 7.30pm - 9pm (weekly during term time) at Nottingham Emmauel School, West Bridgford
Rehearsals: Sundays, 1.30pm - 4.30pm (once every 3 weeks) at Nottingham Trent University, Clifton Campus
NYV is an energetic mixed voice choir for talented singers aged 14-18.
There are no auditions and each week singers receiveexpert vocal tuition from conductor Alex Patterson andlearn to develop their vocal potential, whilst having funsinging with friends. NYV sing a varied diet of musicacross genres and give regular concerts across Nottinghamshire as well as going on a concert tour!

Over 200 children take part in our fun music weekends. Everyone is given the opportunity to enjoy singing a variety of music and make new friends in a safe environment.

Upbeat! takes all your favourite elements from Vocals! and addsthem into a fun-filled weekend of music making. As well as singinga really varied programme of singing (from Frozen to opera!) you will be able to choose to take part in other great activities: fromdrumming and sport to craft and juggling!

NYB is an enthusiastic group ofyoung woodwind, brass and percussion players aged 9+ whomeet weekly to play great musicand develop playing their instrument as part of a team.
There are no auditions, but players must have grade 2 standardor above on their instrument.
