Why come on a Yorkshire Schools Exploring Society Expedition?
I asked some I asked some previous previous expeditioners this expeditioners this question…question…
“My YSES expedition is one of, if not THE, best things I have ever undertaken in my life.I was challenged to question myperspectives on many aspects of life.Because of this I truly think the expeditionhas made me a stronger person in everysense of the word. Above all I have made aset of friendships that will hopefully last alifetime” - Lizzie
“I loved camping and ….. sitting around thecampfire every night singing random songs and telling stories was amazing – likesomething out of a movie. Overall it was such a brilliant experience, oneI’ll never regret taking part in and taught meso much about myself and getting on withothers and working in a team.It helped me get a place at uni so it looksreally great on your CV, and i loved everyminute of it, even the ones spent soaking wetin the good 'ol British rain! I’d go backtomorrow if i could” - Katy
