Yuri Ryazanov-hope domestic gymnastics

Yuri Ryazanov was born March 21, 1987 in Vladimir. At the age of seven George's parents took their son to the Vladimir school of gymnastics. The boy turned out to be very gifted. He was a talented and promising athlete. He studied at the Vladimir State Humanitarian University at the Faculty of Physical Education. He was doing his best to combine studies at a university together with his sports trainings.

There are 2 favoutite things in his life, they are gymnastics and Galya. Galya Sizova is Yuri’s bride. She is a tall red-haired girl. They met in Moscow. He invited her to the movie theatre, but was denied.And only after a couple of months Galina agreed to meet in a cafe. It was the beginning of their relationship.

Him Achievements and titles ► 2008-European champion; ► 2006- World Championship silver medalist in the team competition; 2007, 2009 -► European Championships bronze medalist in the all-around; 2009-► Winner of the Russian championship Russia in Bryansk in 2009; ► Repeated winner of the championships and Cups country of the World Cup; ► The Member of the Games of the XXIX Olympics, won the 6th place in the team competition; ► Won a bronze medal in the all-rounders in the world championships in London in 2009.

The last interview- Yuri, have you already realized that you have made the history of Russian gymnastics? Well, it sounds too loudly. On the one hand, Russians did not win any awards in the individual all-around at the world championships. On the other hand - I have got the bronze medal, not the gold one.

- What dod you do in your free time? I can watch a good movie: the

blockbusters. - Your coach calls you as a «silent champion». Perhaps Igor knows better. He has known me since the first class. But I agree with him. I follow the rules: first do something worthwhile, and only then discuss it.

October, 20 at 12.52 on the federal highway, 161 km, near the entrance to the village Vorsha, the 22-year-old leader of the Russian gymnastics was driving home when suddenly his car went into a long skid, and "Audi“ crashed into it.. Juri died being 20 km form his home.

As his teammates said when they got to the pace of the car accident, all his things were thrown around. And only the medal which he had been trying to win so much, was still nearby. Juri was buried on the 22 th of October, after a week of his becoming a bronze winner of World Championship.

discussed cars together with him, he could give some good advice.
