The YWCA Elizabeth Kearney Women’s Leadership Program has celebrated it’s 7th graduating class this spring. !Nearly140 women have gone through this transformational leadership program throughout our region.

The YWCA continues to build on their success and the success of the participants who graduate from this program. In November 2013 they held the first alumnae reconnection activity. !!

Connection, Education and Service were woven throughout all of the conversations that were initiated by alumnae who were engaged in our conversation that day. Themes from conversations that were called around the following topics:

• Investment

• Continued leadership opportunities

• Structure of the association

• Helping others and each other

• Keeping connected to the YWCA’s mission

Values that surfaced throughout these conversations

• Support & Resources

Continuing our leadership and learning, helping to weave graduates back to the YWCA, being helpful to our community while investing our resources and time in the future of the Alumnae Association and the Elizabeth Kearney Women’s Leadership Program.

NEXT STEPSIntentionally investing our resources and inviting women back to circle to further refine the structure and ongoing development of the Alumnae Association. The YWCA will be asking women from each graduating class to help chart the course for the upcoming year. Starting in September we will begin to move forward and look forward to connecting with you again!
