Subject: Recruitment to Class-IV Posts in Department of Consumer Affairs & Public Distribution, Bandipora (J & K).Whereas by Govt. Order No.: 80-CAPDK of 2012, dated: 26-11-2012 and by Directorate of CA & PD Kashmir's Order No.: 76-CAPDK of 2013, dated: 30-05-2013, 29 Class-IV posts in various categories were referred to the office of Assistant Director, CA & PD Department, Bandipora.Whereas this office advertised 29 posts in various categories vide advertisement notice No.: 01 of 2013, dated: 01-07-2013 and last date of submission/receipt of application forms was fixed at 21-07-2013.Whereas due to unfavorable circumstances, the date of submission/receipt of application forms was extended up to 31-07-2013 vide this office order No.: AD/CAPD/BPR./207, dated: 21-07-2013,1139application forms (OM=964, RBA=131 & ST=44) were received till 31-07-2013.Vide this office order no.: AD/CAPD/Bpr./305-308, dated: 07-09-2013, Serial No's. 18 & 20 of terms and conditions were deleted and candidates who have not submitted the application forms earlier because of above mentioned conditions were given time till 21st of September, 2013 to submit their forms.While taking into account the aspirantsresiding in the far flung areas of Bandipora and particularly residing in the Tehsil Gurez, the date of submission/receipt of application forms was extended up to 21-09-2013vide this office order no.: AD/CAPD/Bpr./305-308, dated: 07-09-2013.Vide order no.: DCAPDK/Adm/B-X-25/2013, dated: 13-09-20113 of Directorate of CAPDK, the date of submission was further extended up to 30-09-2013.Atotal of 1173application forms (OM=996, RBA=131 & ST=46) were received by this office till 30-09-2013.Whereas this office made a database of all the application forms received as per the format provided by the DCAPDK vide order no.: DCAPDK/Adm./B-X-25, dated: 16-04-2013Whereas, after proper verification and scrutinisation,deficiencies were found in the 31 application forms for which adequate time of 15 days had been given to concerned candidates to fulfill their deficiency/ices vide order no.: AD/CA & PD/ BPR./362, dated : 08/10/2013.Whereas, after proper verification and scrutinisation of the application forms received, a total of 31 application forms have been rejected due to non-fulfillment of terms and conditions as mentioned in the advertisement notice.Whereas candidates had been given adequate time of 15 days to represent against their rejection vide order no.: AD/CA & PD/ BPR./362, dated : 08/10/2013.Out of the 1142duly filled and eligible application forms received for recruitment to class-IV posts in Department of Consumer Affairs & Public Distribution, Bandipora (J & K) in response to this office advertisement notice No.: 01 of 2013, dated: 01-07-2013, following candidates have been short listed for interview to be conducted in the office of Assistant Director, Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution Department, Bandipora (J and K.) (Find Annexure "A").The criteria adopted by the committee for the short listing of candidates for interview in the Class-IV Posts in Department of Consumer Affairs & Public Distribution, Bandipora (J & K) is as under:(i) Weight age to be given to the marks obtained in the matriculation: 90 Points (Pro rata basis),(ii) Weight age to be given to the marks obtained in the 10+2: 10 Points (Pro rata basis).Total points for short listing: 100 Points. Important instructionsfor the candidates:1. In case the candidates whose names do not figure in the shortlist or had been wrongly evaluated for his 10,h&12th class marks can submit their claim/representation on application along with supporting/relevant/authenticated documents by or before 22nd of February, 2014 in the office of the Assistant Director, Department of Consumer Affairs and PublicDistribution, Bandipora for consideration on merits and there after no claim shall be entertained.2. If the candidates have any objection/s against the rejection, he or she can submit their representation in the office of the Assistant Director, CA & PD Deptt., Bandipora by or before 22nd of February, 2014 after which no claim will be entertained.3. The candidates shall have to produce all original certificates/testimonials and also attested photocopies by the Gazetted Officer of all the certificates/testimonials like Date of Birth, Qualification marks, State Subject, Category if anyat the time of interview. The candidates failing to produce such certificates/testimonials may forfeit their candidature and will not be allowed to appear in the interview.4. No individual call letter will be issued to candidates. 5. No TA, DA will be given for appearing in the interview.6. Any candidate found involved in production of fabricated/tempered or false documents or information what so ever, shall be liable to befitting action under law.7. Failure of the candidate to appear in the interview on the mentioned notified dates shall not be entertained later and shall forfeit his/her right of consideration.8. Mere figuring of the name in the short list does not entitle the candidates to appear in the interview as it shall be subject to further scrutinization and verification of all testimonials of the candidates shortlisted.9. The venue of interview will be the office of the Assistant Director, Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution, Bandipora (Mini Sectretariat Complex, Bandipora, Block "C") and will starts sharp at 10:30 AM.
