RICARDO CAVOLO

Cavolo was born in Salamanca (Spain) in 1982. He has studied Fine Arts in Salamanca (Spain); Il lustration in Milano (Italy) and Video and Photo in Madrid (Spain). After

graduation he worked in advertising companies. Today he is based in Madrid, working as a freelance il lustrator for companies, books, and magazines.

Cavolo’s work is based in a kind of naif style, using powerful colors and simple line and forms. He focuses in the weird part of l ife, together with the freaky characters,

whom you fall in love with. He clearly gets his point across. The weird and the ugly parts of our life is actually the most real, beautiful and interesting. In his il lustrations

he tells stories, we might not want to hear, using peculiar characters and a personal symbology.

AKIRA NISHITAKE

Akira was born in Ehime, Japan. He had lived in Kyoto, Kita-Kyusyu, and Berlin. Now he lives and work in Tokyo. His work crosses over the different mediums of drawing

, i l lustration, typography, and animation. His work has been featured in art magazines worldwide. He had participated in art shows, conventions and fairs in Japan and

Europe. He had also done solo shows in Japan and Denmark.

We are so excited to use his great il lustrations for our white bone china cups, and we also sell his amazing Chojin Club vol. 2 magazine, which is an alternative comic

LIKE ATMOSPHERE

Like Atmosphere designs closely reflect the Japanese designer and founder Mikuni’s sense of values and aesthetic beauty. In his words, the designs do not just provide

an ornamental surface. Rather, they serve as things more true to their intrinsic and substantial nature. By basing his designs on these spiritual and abstract concepts,

the designer is able to come up with symbolic and simple pieces. This, combined with careful attention to small details, results in truly unique conceptions and creations.

PHUCISME instantly fell in love with his concept. It has have a clear rock’n’roll edge, but are stil l very discrete. Perfect combination and amazing Japanese quality. We

now represent Like Atmosphere in Scandinavia.

“Vintage buttons”

A small ring featuring a design born by a collaboration between the designer and a used-clothing shop.

Buttons modeled after antique buttons from Europe, are arranged and soldered onto simple and slender bands.

The ring carries an anonymous feel that refuses any assertions or claims, and instead insists on its own simplicity and artlessness.

As a result, the original air of these old buttons is brought back to life.

You can layer the motifs you like, and enjoy creating different expressions with them.

“Hold me tightly”

A ring constructed using an original miniature buckle and a tiny studded belt.

As with a normal belt, size does not matter, as it can be adjusted to fit any part of any finger.

And, since it is leather, you need not worry about metal allergies.

“Tiny skull”

Tiny and realistic skull earrings.

Constructed with anatomical accuracy, they are an exceptionally beautiful shape.

The symbolism behind the pair is of Buddhist origin.

The open-mouthed skull signifies the beginning of the world, while the other, closed-mouthed skull, signifies the end.

We meet her one night out in the town, and she made quite an impression on us. Her vit, her style and her personality.
