Classification Talk: Betsy Stubna
2
Betsy grew up in Bridgeville, Pa. After graduating from Waynesburg College,
she received a BA in Visual Communications and minor in Philosophy. She
then accepted a position at EADS group in Somerset.
In 2012, Betsy went back to school to get her MBA in market development.
The following year was a trying one with marriage dissolution and a
terminally ill father. Betsy split her week between work and caring for her
parents. Once finishing her degree in May 2015, she became employed at
Foreman Group here in Zelienople.
Betsy talked about the company and its many branches, Foreman Architect
Engineers, Inc., Foreman Program Construction Management,
PerFOREMANce Roofing, Foreman Building Commissioning and a change
order management process called RAPOSAP. Betsy’s favorite task is to direct
the Foreman Foundation, a nonprofit to find a cure for and raise awareness of
Melanoma. The fundraisers have earned $1.15 million dollars to benefit
Hershey Medical Center’s Melanoma Research Department.
In closing, Betsy shared some of her interests and talents, such as sewing
quilts, restoring homes, modeling, heavy equipment operating, fitness, finance
and reading. She has met a wonderful man, Scott who she is dating. She has a
