Fully featured open-line optical interfaces for DWDM

Coherent Signal Demodulation
The Kairos subsystem provides flexible coherent
transponder interfaces for 100G, 200G and 400G to
convert from high-order modulation schemes (DP-
QPSK, 16-QAM, 8QAM) to standard NRZ for
downstream processing. Carrier-card compatibility
with CFP2-DCO, CFP-DCO and non-MSA form factors,
with support for proprietary framing and non-standard
Protocol ConversionBest-in-class protocol conversion hardware via
Lumacron’s Draco, Chronos and Aries platforms.
Industry leading port density married to lightning fast
protocol auto-discovery and packet stream targeting.
Full signal hierarchy enumeration for OTN, SONET/SDH
and Ethernet networks. In-field upgrades to track the
latest standards (OTUC4, OTUC2, 400GbE), with a
comprehensive back-catalogue for legacy protocol
support down to DS0.
Multi-terabit Throughput
High density, 32-port QSFP28 100GbE switch for
integrated system interconnect. Flexible L2/L3
forwarding at 3.2Tbps full-duplex in 1RU, facilitates high
efficiency stream forwarding with zero packet loss.
Configurable egress interfaces. 100GbE, or load-
balanced to Nx25G/10G streams for legacy NIC
connectivity.
Flow-Aware L4-7 SwitchingP4-enabled, flow-aware switch. Dynamical ly
configurable L4-7 filtering and stateful processing at
wire-speed. Forward, drop, aggregate and de-duplicate
packet traffic on a per-flow basis. Flow coherent load
balancing from N x 100G to M x 25G/10G. Per-flow
state and meta-data extraction, with support for
Netflow, IPFix and customised record formats.
Recording and PlaybackIndustry-leading solid-state recording and playback
capability via the Perseus platform. Capture up to 26
minutes of sustained 100Gbps data from the line in
1RU, or combine with stream targeting user-interface to
select streams of interest for storage. Removable disk
cartridges for offline analysis. Real time playback with
